When troubled, who are we going to call on?

I think we would call whoever could help us the most in the problem we are facing; that is why there are so many different businesses around. Nevertheless the smart people are always going to call The Best which is the One who can solve anything, and He will act if we do call on Him and He’ll send the best option. Never leave Him for last when there’s no alternative. I am referring to God, of course. Maybe some might feel they are not worth and that is why He does not answer the way expected. But, we are His creation and He loves us all the same, that’s why he sent His only begotten Son to sacrifice himself in our place so we could be safe of what’s coming up to the earth because of man’s disobedience, which is the rejection to enter to Life Eternal with Jesus who said: I am the Way, and the Truth, and the Life; no one comes to the Father but through Me. (John 14.6) Which is why I am so sad for those who reject Him, thus the Father also. And so with the ones who dare invoke the presence of the one whose fault caused the fall of the man God created. Those will also have consequences not very likeable either and all the ones who follow their steps too. If we are going to call on someone, why call on that traitor? Because he was so smart and beautiful and there was no one like him in the universe, he became so conceited that he even dare to ask the Son of God to belittle Himself to worship him. And we are still here today because He did not. Thank God! Otherwise everything would have been finished long time ago. . . but God is so great and merciful that cleansed us for eternity, despite Satan’s tricks which dominate all his followers to be lost with him. God and Jesus’ followers know them, and have the presence of the Holy Spirit in us, and say like Paul the apostle: I can do all things through Him who strengthens me. (Philippians 4.13) Reason for which we call on Him and know that whatever the consequences will turn out for our benefit (Romans 8.28), even in death for we trust we will be with Him. If we trust Him, we read the Scriptures, learn about Him, and befriend Him. Maybe some doubt, because they don’t know Him, but when one knows somebody well enough, one knows what that person is capable of, and when we know the Divinity we can trust them. It is very silly of anyone to trust on the ones who go against our Creator, who gave us life, and tells us how we should act to avoid the troubles we may get into for having disobeyed Him. Sometimes He lets us taste bad moments to make us stronger like it happened to Job (read the book in the Old Testament, right before the book of Psalms, about in the center of the Bible.) He could have hated God for letting him go through horrors having done the right things, yet after everything, Job ended better than before. And his “friends” who came to comfort him and told him he had done something wrong and deserved the trouble, the Lord answered: My wrath is kindled against you. . .because you have not spoken of Me what is right, as My servant Job has. (Job 42.7) But Job prayed for his friends and the Lord restored him. That’s how the power of prayer works, when you give the glory to God. Job had said: I know that my Redeemer lives and at the last He will take His stand on the earth. (Job 19.25) The Lord helps those who ask Him. Because if they ask Him is because they know He exists and acts with love towards everybody. How could we reject someone whose teaching is: Do not devise harm against your neighbor (Proverbs 3.29). . .Love your enemies and pray for those who persecute you. (Matthew 5.38 ) . . . Whoever forces you to go with him one mile, go with him two. (Matthew 5.41) The ones whose teaching is goodness are godly, yet the ones who teach about Hate and Revenge are the ones you must dread for they will do you the same they teach. We must choose the One who loves and forgives now because He is faithful in spite of us who are not. He is the author of love, and, Love is patient, love is kind and is not jealous; love does not brag and is no arrogant, does not act unbecomingly; does not seek its own, is not provoked, does not take into account a wrong suffered, does not rejoice in unrighteousness, but rejoices in the truth. (Ist Corinthians 13. 4-6) If we want Truth and Life then our way must be Jesus who is Love. But now faith, hope, love, abide these three; but the greatest of these is LOVE. (Ist Corinthians 13.13)
