Will we fall or do we let God take back control?

How dreadful is everything that is going on in our country, I mean The United States of America, the land of the free, with Christian values, which has always been shelter to emigrants from around the world, who like the pilgrims, flee from some kind of persecution whether religious, political, some even economic, racial, social or ethnic. And once they are here, have the privilege of becoming citizens with all rights and benefits. But, do they have the right to change the laws?  Yes; they can become politicians and propose to make changes through new laws or amendments. There have been changes which benefit some existing groups. These changes mostly are for the benefit of the majority so we can live better and in harmony, despite ethnic differences. Like the states we are united, although, sometimes there are those who, overcome by their ethnic background, forget to whom or what they owe their well being.

We should not be ungrateful or forgetful of WHO allows us to continue on, or who has the power to say “enough already!” And that person is the same God that we constantly disobey. Then, why do we get angry anytime something goes wrong in our lives, and blame Him? If God were to really pay us according to our loyalty, we would probably not be around since ALL have sinned and fall short of the Glory of God. (Romans 3:23)  We always choose to go against His regulations.  Some people prefer to be unbelievers, to not accept that He truly has power to get rid of us if He wanted to, as He did in Noah’s time which they declare is a fable. They are like those doubters who say the Jewish holocaust never happened or like the people who want to remove all human “ERRORS” from history. Do these agnostics want to be politically correct or are they working for the coming “Anti-Christ” who is going to bring world peace in the guise of a democratic pacifist? And, would it happen like it did in my birth country, Cuba, where some of our elders said Castro was the one to turn Cuba into a paradise when what he did was to destroy everything to turn the island into a prison? This is what will happen when the Anti-Christ comes. He will seem “good” for some of the people, but he will annihilate anyone who does not think like him. When that happens, there will not be a Christian United States to run to; we decide against us every time we give our vote to those who are going to ruin us because they disregard the original Christian-based laws and beliefs which made this nation great. This nation is no longer Christ centered as it once was: they have abolished prayers in the schools, the Ten  Commandments are politically incorrect, and they want to annul the word GOD from any official or governmental document and legal tender, thanks to the leftist liberals. And when a worthy politician wants to reconcile us with God through prayer like what happened in Texas, others begin to assert that he is crazy. In less than 300 years, this nation became a world power thanks to its Christian faith and values, but now it is going down the hill. We cannot let our leaders sink the nation into an atheism which has been disguised as politically correct human values, liberalism, radicalism, socialism or any kind of religion that allows the “hating” of its enemies as part of its rules. The Christian rule is to LOVE, and change their way of thinking. I know that is not easy, but we do NOT take the law in our own hands. We leave it to God to do us justice: for it is written, “Vengeance is mine, I will repay, says the Lord.”(Romans 12:19)

Living it to the Max

A great famine invaded a world in a far away solar system. Due to a political, economical and spiritual crisis all of its inhabitants were passing away. Two friends who were neighbors and had families heard about a wise man who gave away a type of food that gave life to the hungry. They decided to look for him and ask for help. When they found him, he gave them each a small container, the size of a shoe box full of bread in the form of little balls, and told them, as a condition, that they were to give one to anyone who asked for them. On their way home, there were many people who pleaded for bread to save their life, and one of the two men always opened his box while the other hid his for he did not want to waste any of the little bread balls since he had a family to feed. When they finally got home after a very long trip, the one who hid the box hurried away before he was asked to share the food, knowing that his friend had given it almost all away. But in the rush, he tripped, the box fell open and all its contents rolled out far away while he cried and cursed.
“Do not worry” said his friend. “I will share with you.”
He mocked him between tears thinking that the box was empty and that their endeavor had been in vain, but what a surprise when his friend opened the box and found it to be filled to the top. His friend gave him all that he wanted knowing that he was doing the wise man’s will. He realized that if the wise man gave out to all who came and always had plenty more to give, the same thing would happen to him. He learned to live it to the max; food was never scarce in his home.

Living it to the max is not difficult at all if that is what you want to do. All you have to do is to make the choice. If all you want to do in life is to have fun all the time so that there is no time for anything else, and if you are willing to accept the consequences, perhaps you would not do anything differently from what you are now doing. In the end it will be the same thing as now forever and ever. It’s like riding one of those super fast, very high, revolving roller coasters which are so dangerous, yet so attractive. You want to ride them forever and ever. But by the third round you feel nauseated, have a headache and a deadly anxiety to get out of something which you have no control over, and there is no way back out. How horrible it would be to spend an eternity that way!
There are countless opportunities to choose to live with wisdom, surrounded by love from your dear ones and to enjoy the good life that our Creator meant for us in peace, smiles and well being for ever. This is guaranteed to anyone who decides to follow the wise man’s will which gives out the abundant life God offers us. Not the “wise guy” who has to subdue people in order to get rich and look to benefit himself and his own. If you want to follow the true Wise Man, our Creator, get in touch with him and ask for the food that will never perish nor ever lack and He will give it to you. Live it to the Max.
