Are We Well Connected?

I do not know what’s going on now. It seems as if the “one” who’s trying to make our lives a disaster (and always has) recruited many people who try to make the peaceful ones’ life miserable. That is why we have to hold on to the promises of the Almighty One so we do not fail, and keep on fighting hard by praying constantly.  Also repeating the words of those who have made the list of the connected ones like King David:  even though I walk through the valley of shadow of death I will fear no evil, for Thou are with me. (Psalm 23.4)

Here at home we have been disconnected from internet for the past 4 days. It comes on for a few minutes and then it goes off for hours. It has been overwhelming for we are used to do many things that require that service.  Due to the pandemic it’s been very difficult to get a hold of someone to check your equipment and the phone help has not served us at all. When the light of the router is blinking everyone has to rush to do the work fast so we all have a chance. Boy, am I glad we do not have that problem with our Creator and we can all (the millions of people) talk to Him at the same time and He listens to all. If we keep connected there won’t be any problem for us . . . yes, there might be a problem, I’d say, but we can solve anything with His help. He promised it and the people who love Him, believe it. Jesus said:  I am the true vine, and my Father is the vinedresser. Every branch in Me that does not bear fruit, He takes away; and every branch that bears fruit He prunes it so that it might bear more fruit. (John 15. 1-2)

I do not know what these verses might mean to you, but I tell you what they told me today as I was reading them: the more we stay connected to the Father, the more we are going to understand everything that is going on, and why it is so important that we read His word daily and talk to Him all the time. If you are too busy, make a time, because this is more important than anything you might consider imperative. That is the soul breath, and without it, it dies. Everything you do will become meaningless and happiness flees away. I am the vine, you are the branches; he who abides in Me and I in him, he bears much fruit, for apart from Me you can do nothing. If anyone does not abide in Me, he is thrown away as a branch and dries up; and they gather them, and cast them into the fire and they are burned. (John 15. 5-6)  All in due time, of course. God sends the Word so we can process it. If we are doers of it, we’ll become connected, if not, we are disconnected forever. So if you want a meaningfull  life, get connected. Simply ask Him to guide you to Him, to provide a way to have an encounter with Him, and you’ll see the changes in your life. Not because you’ll become rich with money, but because you’ll be rich in wisdom which we need to work anything out in this world. If you are the kind of person who thinks that only the money will solve things in this world, you’re wrong.  I have known of a lot of people who were rich and lived miserably to die even worse. Try living wisely so you can live forever. And good wisdom can only come from GOD, not from the teachers at the school that you do not know which “god” they are serving.  I was just remembering the high school I graduated from and all my teachers were good, of course it was a Christian School; it was strict but the love of God was implemented.  We pleaded for His guidance everyday in our mid-morning prayer service; a guarantee for our great and peaceful living in midst of the world’s everyday living. If we have a daily “vaccination” of our Heavenly Father’s word and talk to Him, we’ll feel ready for any condition that may affect us.

I can understand why some people do not want to “connect” with God thinking it might imply a compromise. If they knew the benefits they would have after they truly do, any “compromise” will be worth having.  Making great new friends , having good times, opportunities that can come, the invincible feeling, the hope of future greatness, the knowledge that someday we’ll see our Creator face to face and thank Him for every good thing he gave us on earth and will give us in the future and mostly His Love for us, are some of them. Our blessings are limitless. We should not be worried at all.

King David said it given his experience: Many are the sorrows of the wicked, but he who trusts in the Lord, lovingkindness shall surround him. (Psalm 32.10)  Jesus told us after He said what I previously shared with you: “These things I have spoken to you so that in Me you may have peace. In the world you have tribulation, but take courage; I HAVE OVERCOME THE WORLD.” (John 16.33)
