Are We Feeling Bad . . . for what’s happening?

Certainly, all of us have reasons to feel BAD, SAD, ANGRY, SICK, TIRED . . . the list is endless because things have grown so miserable to make us feel that way. And some think we are progressing? Yes, to the road to where our adversary wants to take us. And who’s that?  Is it the virus, the war . . . the price increase on everything?  Where does he/it wants to take us?  He wants us to fail, to fall, to be destroyed, and then laughs about it.  That’s why he uses the so called “smart people” to make us believe the lies that control us, and think we are wrong in believing in God, just like in the days of Noah, when they were laughing at the “imbecile” who spent years of work, and of goods, and everything else to build a huge vessel in a place nowhere near the water, and filled it with all kinds of stinking animals that he had to feed and clean up after, just to be obedient to his God. But they didn’t laugh when it began to rain constantly and wouldn’t stop, and begged Noah to get them a space, even by the stinking animals. Those were like the ones who think the believers of today are crazy for reading and obeying the Word of God which says that the Days of the Son of Man will be like in the days of Noah. (Luke 17.26)

Anyone of us, believers, know by faith that the Bible is the Word of God, because we have, in one way or another, verified its truth, and know that many of its promises have already been fulfilled; reason for which we study it, night and day, to be informed of what we have to do, and how to act when the circumstances get “out of hand.” Also, we talk to our Creator, constantly, who gives us peace and makes us feel hope when we know that with Him we overwhelmingly conquer (Romans 8.37) in any situation. Things might seem extremely bad but we should not give up hope for we know God causes all things to work together for good to those who love Him. (Romans 8.28)  And that means that if we have to go over a hard situation God will fix it to our advantage, just because we love Him. I feel sorry for the ones who are always cursing Him like He was at fault instead of our sinning condition due to our choosing to disobey. If we have a relationship with our Creator, really seeking Him, we would feel fine because we learn something new every day we read His word and come to an understanding of why sometimes things have to happen a certain way we might not like, but there’s a reason we might not understand at the moment but later on we realize that if it had not been for that, the outcome had been catastrophic. If we read the story of Joseph, son of Jacob (Genesis chapter 27-50) whose own brothers sold him to Egypt as slave and he suffered much for it, but God blessed him for being faithful. When he saw them again said: “Now, do not be grieved or angry with yourselves because you sold me here, for God sent me before you to preserve life, for the famine has been in the land these two years, and there are still five years in which there will still be neither plowing nor harvesting. God sent me before you to preserve a remnant in the earth and to keep you alive for a great deliverance.” (Genesis 45. 5-7)

Catastrophic is the results of the actions taken by the people who let themselves be advised by our Adversary, because they will fail. Look what happened to the one disciple of Jesus who betrayed Him, Judas Iscariot. He killed himself thus blaming himself unforgivable. Nevertheless, Peter, who also betrayed Him, asked for forgiveness and became a leader. If we give in, doing what the Word of God says not to do, we are listening to the advice of the Adversary. And, who is really our Adversary? If we go to the Word of God, it says: For our struggle is not against flesh and blood, but against the rulers, against the powers, against the world forces of this darkness, against the spiritual forces of wickedness in the heavenly places. (Ephesians 6.12)  So the Devil (Satan) and his “attendants” plant the bad ideas in the mind of the “smart people” who know how to attract others, yet deny him, to sound brainy. They do not know they have already been condemned because they have denied themselves the gospel of Jesus. Paul apostle said: And even if our gospel is veiled, it is veiled to those who are perishing, in whose case the god of this world (Satan) has blinded the mind of the unbelieving so that they might not see the light of the gospel of the glory of Christ, who is the image of God. (2 Corinthians 4.3,4)

It is very sad that for wanting to “win” in this short life, many will spend their eternity in anguish to feel precisely very BAD,  because our “misery” in this world is only temporary since Jesus already won in the Cross and with his Blood (the Red Gold) bought our freedom. So if we want to be free from every bad feeling, injustices and anything that makes us feel that way, we have to be conquerors and know the truth: For God did not send the Son into the world to judge the world, but that the world might be saved through Him. He who believes in Him is not judged; he who does not believe has already been judged, because he has not believed in the name of the only begotten Son of God. (John 3. 17,18)

During these days we celebrate Jesus Passion, let’s not be sad, because it’s really a Victory over death.

                                 HAPPY EASTER!!!
