 Are We Celebrating a Miracle?

There are many celebrations during our time in this world and many people celebrate this time of the year but they do not really know what. Some have birthdays, others celebrate conquers, others do not celebrate because they simply do not care or do not believe.
The ones who do celebrate have a good reason to do it and it is the fulfillment of a promise made thousands of years ago by the prophet Isaiah when he said: “Therefore the Lord Himself will give you a sign: Behold, a virgin will be with child and bear a son, and she will call His name Immanuel.(God with us)”  Isaiah 7.14   And that promise became real when the virgin Mary was conceived by the Holy Spirit over 2000 years ago, because God himself became human to interact with us and teach us how to behave to have a happier and better life. Happier because we have hope despite the world’s bitterness, and better because although “this” is not over yet, when the end comes, EVERYTHING will be fixed. . Isn’t that a Miracle worth celebrating?
Many do not believe even with the fulfillment of many promises of the Bible and the discoveries made that eliminate the false atheist theories teachings that even the “Great” universities are “educating” their students with, created by people whose credibility only grew on nonbelievers. They do not believe in God but believed in human nonsense.
We have to believe in our reality which has been proven over the years, like the testimonies given by the miracle bearing people, group of which I’m part of. Our reality is that when we become part of the family of Christ we are recipient of the Holy Spirit which makes us change our attitude from apprehensive to peaceful because we rest all our worries on Him who gives us hope for the future, no matter how bad our surroundings may look. For in hope we have been saved. (Romans 8.24a)
For that reason we have to search the truth of the real God, read about Him and see it in everything He created, teach our children they must obey Him if they want HOPE for the future. And celebrate Him for coming to give us hope of salvation. Let’s celebrate the birth of Jesus, “And there is salvation in no one else; for there is no other name under heaven that has been given among men by which we must be saved.” (Acts 4.12)
Merry Christmas!

Is the World Upside Down?

Yes… It is! We are seeing things that we had never seen before. . . All we have to do is watch the News. But that is all in God’s Word: The Holy Bible: But the Spirit explicitly says that in the later times some will . . .      (I Timothy 4 ) . . .in the last days, difficult times will come. . .(II Tim. 3). . . but the day of the Lord will come like a thief in which. . . (II Peter 3.10)   Evidently we are in those times and I advice anyone to read of them and learn what it says it would happen then, even when some preachers advice us not to think on that. They might, but I don’t because I read my Bible every day and I know we have to be alert and waiting all the time to be ready like the Wise Virgins. ( Mathew  25.)   I think these preachers say “do not worry” because they do not want people to be “scared” for what the Bible says it is going to happen to the ones who do not believe, but I think the best way of showing people not to worry is by showing them how great it is to put our trust in the Lord who came to pay for our debt with God so we don’t have to.  It is great to know that our Lord loves us ALL and wants ALL to be saved but some prefer not to worry and “live up” in contempt of God’s desire.
What do you think will happen when Jesus returns and takes over the world kingdoms? What do you think will happen to nonbelievers, evildoers and their followers? The Bible says it all if you want to learn it. There are doctors in Scatology that can help. But this is something that we do not have to know in order to be saved.  All we need is 1-to Believe,  2-To Repent of our sinning nature, and  3-Ask the Holy Spirit of God to come into our lives, and the priceless Grace of God will do the rest. That’s what the guy being crucified with Jesus did.
Many people blame God for the upside down world, but the only ones responsible for that is ourselves with our bad choices due to our sinful nature. Yet, we can fix that. We cannot fix the world but we can start with our family, our children, and teach them to fear the Lord so they don’t go bad, and they will teach their children and so on, and so on. If everyone did this, the whole world would stand straight, but there are many who prefer not to believe. They want to be like the rich man in the story of The Rich Man and Lazarus (Luke 16.29)
If we establish a communication system (read the Word and Pray) with the Lord on an everyday basis we will sense a calmness that no matter how upside down the world is we will not go crazy, and know for sure that whatever the bad advised people might scheme against who are trying to do good, will turn against them. There are many Psalm verses that will make us feel invincible. Here’s some:
God is our Refuge and Strength. A very  present  help in trouble. (Psalm 46.1)
Even though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear  no evil for thou are with me. ( P 23.4)
The angel of the Lord encamps around those who fear Him, and rescues them. ( P 34.7)
He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High will abide in the shadow of the Almighty. ( P 91.1)
You will not be afraid of the terror by night, or the arrow that flies by day. ( P 91.5)
And for that reassurance We should thank the LORD every day like the pilgrims did for their blessings inspite their troubles.
 HAPPY THANKSGIVING  DAY!!!

What is more important Health or Beauty?

Many smart people would say “Of course Health, Beauty is something you can fix.” Actually I think Beauty is a part of Health, although some people, in their anxiety of being beautiful have lost their health and even their lives. That is mostly among us, women, who are always trying to look better. Some would like perhaps a better shape, put some here, take off from there, and others look for a beautiful apparel to wear, combined make up, nail color to match, even on other clothing pieces that can’t be seen. Is that bad?  Of course not, I think that is part of our way of feeling healthy; that is a property of our being feminine, the way our Creator meant us to be and it is healthy to work on it.
I remember when I was little, if a mother gave birth to quite a large baby, people used to say that it looked “healthy” and therefore beautiful. The parents did not have to worry much about the properly feeding which is very important to a baby. Now a days the babies are being checked for anything “wrong” in case of the ones that are a little fatter than the average. As good parents we have to give our children the best care we can, and there’s where we could say that Health is more important than Beauty because we are talking of our Off-springs, the ones who are going to continue on the path we will not be able to finish on this earth, and I’m talking about the spiritual health. If we teach them well from the beginning of their journey on earth they could make wise choices and live a quality life to not get into any trouble. We can do that by teaching them to respect our Creator and search into His word and teachings. The problem is that some do not think there’s a Creator and believe it’s a waste of time to commit to anything that would “jeopardize” their free way of thinking. But if they only knew how great you feel when you know there’s Someone watching out over you, to help you out of your troubles (because you’re going to have them in this fallen world) you not only would give Him attention but anything else He could ask. Jesus said: “Take My Yoke upon you and learn from Me, for I am gentle and humble in heart, and you will find rest for your souls. For My yoke is easy and My burden is light.”(Mathew 11.29-30)
Saul of Tarsus, being a criminal, converted to Christ by the Grace of God (read Acts 9.1-31) and changed completely from being on eternal death row to eternal life way and becoming His messenger as Paul, apostle to all Gentiles (all who are not Jews to whom Jesus gave the right to be chosen too.)  And he said: ”And we know that God causes all things to work together for good to those who love God, to those who are called according to His purpose. (Romans 8.28)  Not to our purpose, or the devil’s, which is to trick everyone, so they spend eternity in agony.  That is why he’s called Satan: the adversary. And he’s the author of many theories that distort the minds of the people who fall on them, because they are not prepared to fight the predators who lie to us presenting Godless theories, promising things which are not possible to men.
This is why we have to prepare our children, who are the future of the World, in God’s Ways to be strong and healthy, spiritually, to avoid many massacres in this world and to induce goodness, but in the name of God. And if we have not enough knowledge we can ask God in prayer to guide us and give us wisdom to act. God said through a prophet:
Call to Me and I will answer you, and I will tell you great and mighty things, which you do not know. (Jeremiah 33.3)
I do not try to convince you on my experiences which are many, but if you want to experience it for yourselves, I dare you to try it, ask Him for a sign and you could be affirming like Paul: “For I am convinced that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities, nor things present nor things to come, nor powers, nor height, nor depth, nor any other created thing, will be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8. 29,30)

Do we consider ourselves smart people?

The word SMART has several meanings in the dictionary, and the different synonyms refer to a specific type (bright, intelligent, clever. Ingenious, resourceful, stylish. . .) but in general, if we are, we are going to make choices in life that take us to everlasting goodness for us and our family.
Of course, it is like everything in life, it has two sides: the good and the bad. For some it is smart to be rich, for instance, no matter what you do to get it; like when you smart-out your opponent; like when one lies in order to justify whatever action taken, or like the dictators who smart out a whole nation with lies to live well, them and their followers; or the ones who live sinful lives sheltering in the “others’ faults who discriminate them” and constantly justify themselves. The criminals usually get a “smart” lawyer to get them out of a guilty sentence. It all depends how you look at it.
The first mother and father had two sons: Cain, who worked the ground and Abel who worked with the animals. They both presented their offerings to the Lord, but He had regard for Abel and his offering and not for Cain’s. As a child I used to say: <It isn’t fair. Why is it that Abel’s work had to be better than the other’s?>  But now, as I am older and study I understand. The Lord said to Cain: If you do well will not your countenance be lifted up? And if you do not do well sin is crouching at the door; and its desire is for you, but you must master it. (Genesis 4.7) I realized, then, that the problem was not in the offering, but in the attitude of not being able to behave smartly and accept to have lost, being envious and sinning when Cain killed his brother. So we have to be smart and calm down to not sin.
If we study the Word that God left us we become smart to make good choices and we can teach our children so their lives can be lived smartly and that’s called to have WISDOM.  My pastor says that Paul the apostle’s masterpiece work is the book of ROMANS and to me the best instructions are in the 12th chapter. I leave you with some verses that have touched me:
Therefore I urge you brethren, by the mercies of God to present your bodies a living and holy sacrifice, acceptable to God which is your spiritual service of worship. (v1) And do not be conformed to this world but be transformed by the renewing your mind, so that you may prove what the will of God is, that which is good and acceptable and perfect. (v2) Let love be without hypocrisy. Abhor what is evil; cling to what is good. (v9) Be devoted to one another in brotherly love; give preference to one another in honor. (v10)  Be of the same mind toward one another; do not be haughty in mind, but associate with the lowly. Do not be wise in your own estimation. (v16) Never pay back evil for evil to anyone. Respect what is right in the sight of all men. (v17) If possible so far as it depends on you be at peace with all men. (v18) NEVER take your own revenge, beloved, but leave room for the wrath of God, for it is written, “VENGEANCE is MINE , I WILL  REPAY,” says the Lord. (v19) “But if your enemy is hungry, feed him, and if he’s thirsty, give him a drink; for in doing so you will heap burning coals on his head.”(20) Do not be overcome by evil, but overcome evil with good. (v21)     If we do these things we’d be smart and the world would be a better place.

Do You Get Desperate Sometimes?

I do. It usually happens when I cannot control the situation; when I look around and realize that I am lost and there’s no way out, as it happened to me not long ago. My father was finally out of the hospital, like he wanted, after two long stays there, but in hospice at home, when my husband went to have a Cath. done because of a persistent chest pain. The procedure could not be performed due to a severe clog and he had to have an “open heart” immediately. I did not know what to do with my dad’s situation since no one could take care of him. He could not walk or do anything for himself. I went crazy knowing he wanted to stay home and I did not want to tell him what was going on.  That day he had a blood suppuration and I had to send him back to the hospital.  “Poor thing” he didn’t complain and accepted the situation, so I could be in the other hospital. The day of my husband’s procedure scheduled for 3 PM did not make me too happy for the lateness and the possible exhaustion of the medical team, so when I learned they had to postpone it I thanked God. Early, the next day, the procedure was a success and I thanked God again.  I had been running around hospitals and looking for people to be with my Dad (which was no problem with my church brethren and some family) when the day after as I went to get my hospital pass, I realized I had lost the small purse I carried my ID's, debit and credit cards which I knew I had taken for I had added a blank check to give someone. “When it rains it pours” I could not but think on all the risk I was exposed to and I got desperate. Then I cried as I  searched the car. I went crazy throwing away anything that I found which wasn’t important at that moment. I knew it was the end for me, my husband wasn’t in the condition to find out that kind of news and I had to smile as if nothing, then I prayed and a verse came to my mind: Be strong and courageous do not be afraid or tremble, for the Lord your God is the one who goes with you. He will not fail you nor forsake you. (Deuteronomy 31.6) All of a sudden a great peace invaded me. I found the receipt of the gas station where I had stopped prior to arriving at the hospital, gave the name to my daughter and she called in. A kind employee went to look for it by the pump and found it on the floor. No one had taken it because the Lord was guarding it.
I have had many experiences of the sort, and even when I get desperate, because I am a human being, I pray, and when I feel that peace that surpasses all comprehension, I know that everything is fine because the One who’s got to be alert is always in control. I had many Christian congregations from different denominations and lots of people praying for us. Psalms 127.1 says: Unless the Lord builds the house, they labor in vain who build it; unless the Lord guards the city, the watchman keeps awake in vain.  So whoever intends to do something without His favor, in the “long run” will fail.
My dad went home (to his real one) on the 4th of July and my husband recuperates rapidly. I’m not mourning because my father is enjoying life with his Heavenly Father along with all his loved ones who preceded him in Jesus Christ. And the ones who stayed here do not have to worry if we trust in the Lord. Though youth grow weary and tired, and vigorous young men stumble badly, yet those who wait for the Lord will gain new strength; they will mount up with wings like eagles, they will run and not get tired, They will walk and not become weary. (Isaiah 40. 30-31)
