Do you really know who you are backing up?

“Vanity of vanities,” says the Preacher, “Vanity of vanities! All is vanity.” (Ecclesiastes 1:2)  Absolutely! That is why Queen Herodias prompted her daughter to ask for the head of John the Baptist if she pleased the king, and she did. Only because he said a truth she did not like to hear.. So are all the ones who have certain power. They take advantage of it to do whatever of who elects them. . .and worse to their opponents. That is why, in the land where I was born there is a “king” that no one elected, yet he’s been there for more time than thirteen presidents, altogether. He has sort of transferred the seat but has not abdicated completely. That is what is happening in many places of the world. And in the one we now live in which is forgetting its first love to give all rights to who is  an instrument in the hands of the Prince of this world, Satan. For we have given him the authority to step all over us and drown us, when we back him up

This country was the only place which valued Christian principles. Now we are losing that due to all the politically correct but awful ideas which will makes fall. In the place I was born, I remember the people thought it would not be any problem to give an opportunity to such a charismatic leader. It is countless all the wrongdoings. The first year he seemed like an innocent benefactor of “the poor and the blacks.” Now everyone is poor (except the government people) and most blacks are in jail. The “benefactor” has turned into the most ruthless and criminal of predators. He boasts on his theory of a Godless nation. I saw and experienced the “change” he brought up. Anything which used to be honorable before his time, became bad in the new system. And all that was an abomination, turned into good doing if it helped the new form of government..

Many people think that can not ever be possible in the US. I too thought that the people here would never accept any Anti-Christian proposals like the murder of innocent creatures and the legitimization to sexually transgress. Nevertheless I have heard it on the radio and TV of its possible approval into law by a candidate, in order to get votes for the next presidential election. If you really want the best one to win, simply ask God to give you discernment in voting. Join the Christian group in a praying campaign and do not forget to go vote. Remember what Jesus said:

“Truly I say to you, whatever you bind on earth shall have been bound in heaven; and whatever you loose on earth shall have been loosed in heaven. Again I say to you, that if two of you agree on earth about anything that they may ask, it shall be done for them by my Father who is in heaven. For where two or three have gathered together in My name, I am there in their midst.”

Would you like to be chosen and famous?

During this time period also known as the Olympic Games we have seen many of both kinds of individuals. Athletes who were previously chosen to represent their countries as well as those who have demonstrated to be the top performers and who are also attractive enough to become famous (whether it is for their performance, punctuation, the medals they win, or the fans they draw in). I can imagine how awesome it must feel to be acclaimed; ah, to be chosen as “the best from the best,” and then prove it in front of myriads of viewers who cheer, even from their homes. But in order to be chosen, you really should discipline and work hard with barely any rest, lest you lose the opportunity.

That is the way it is in this world we live in. If we want to be chosen we have to work really hard and practice over and over until we reach perfection. That is why it is so sad that in spite our efforts sometimes we do not even get a medal made of paper. Nevertheless simply qualifying to be on the Olympic Team is a prize in itself for you were chosen for it and enjoyed it. That in itself might make you famous,  being on television and all. Simply put: Hard work = Best = Chosen = Famous.
.
In the Christian life it is completely the opposite. We believe and are Famous to God and Chosenjust as He chose us in Him before the foundation of the world, (Ephesians 1:4 NASB) and as a result we Work Hard. I’m sure it doesn’t sound too desirable to many. If we were famous, we would not have to work so hard. It does not make sense. How could we get that prize for being famous to God? Because the Hard Work is simply our demonstration of Love to Him and to others as He tells us to do: 1- You shall love the Lord your God with all your Heart, and with all your Soul, and with all your Mind, and with all your Strength. 2- You shall love Your Neighbor as yourself.
(Mark 12: 30, 31) We really do not have to work to be chosen. It is by GRACE; it is the gift of God; not as a result of works, so no one may boast. (Ephesians 2:8-9)  And for the Christian, that projection of love to God and others gives us the Joy of knowing that someday He will give us the eternal medal and will say: “You have done well, good and faithful servant! You have been faithful with a few things. I will put you in charge of many things. Come share your master’s happiness!” (Matthew 25:21 NIrV)
