Do we want to be included in the ones of the Millennium or be the forgotten ones with Satan?

Last month I told you of the “New Earth” and how nobody would remember anything from before, I’d dare to say “including the people who will not be there.” It is sad to think that. I cry every time I think of it because I love everyone around me and wish they could all be there too, but if they do not repent, believe, and become “new born,” they will not. That is why the pastors, priests, missionaries, evangelists, and the church of Christ preach about it, so everyone would know. Revelation 21 tells us about it, asserting what the prophet Isaiah said centuries before: Then I saw a new heaven and a new earth; for the first heaven and the first earth passed away, and there’s no longer any sea. (Revelation 21.1) I cannot imagine an earth without a sea, but I believe anything the Lord says in His word. He will give me an understanding if I need it. Revelation is an intense book that some pastors think it wasn’t written for us but for the people of its time. Of course there are many opinions, and sadly, I’ve heard some who are even looking for passages that they think “contradict each other.” I feel sorry for their misinterpretation because many people could fall with them due to their agenda to discredit God’s word. We have to ask God to give us discernment to know what is His commands and what is not; and understand that the people of that time had not seen enough to explain with clarity and did the best they could about “futuristic ships” to describe them as we know them today, and used words of things they believed looked like what they saw. Yet, the Bible is filled with warnings like “blessed the ones who haven’t seen and yet, believed,” and, “the ones who persevere to the end will be saved,” reason for which we should not argue those issues which are not so important now and focus on the most important ones although we know that some day we will understand it all. So, we believe based in what we live and learn, and the wisdom and truth we acquire, and that’s how we strengthen our faith. The Bible says: Faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the word of Christ. (Roman 10 17) also, The fear of the Lord is the beginning of Wisdom. (Proverbs 9.10) That FEAR means RESPECT. There are many important people who have NO respect whatsoever to The Creator and owner of everything and everyone. HE is the owner of our life and if HE wants to, HE will end it. See what has happened to all those who have dared to disrespect or ridicule Him. (Read what happened in Brazil) Where are they now? And with no chance to get pardon, nor mercy. It is a pity, but they provoked it with their ignorance. A wise man said it: He who walks in integrity, walks securely, but he who perverts his way will be found out. (Proverbs 10.9) If we do not want to be the forgotten ones we should walk in integrity. And that means to respect the Lord and do everything He suggests in His word; read it, study it, talk to Him and have a good relationship with Him in order to change our bad ways, our hatred, our envy and everything that perhaps might give us pleasure but it’s only a temporary one. The pleasure that God offers is eternal and no one can take it away from us once we become His adopted ones. I’ve heard of some who have refused an invitation to be saved from the calamity that is bound to happen to the ones who rebel against their Creator. They simply do not accept the goodness if they have to bow to an authority, in this case to a heavenly one, yet they do not realize that by refusing God, they are becoming a subject of Satan who has no pity with anyone, while God is merciful and accepts us just as we are, just like the father of the story of the “Prodigal son” who watched out for him every day until the son felt wretched and decided to come back home, and asked to be forgiven. The father celebrated his return in spite of his condition. (Luke 15. 11-32) Satan does not care for his allies and has NO authority away from earth so we will NOT be afraid for eternity is in heaven. That is why God called him “the ruler of this world,” but He also said: “he has nothing in Me.” (John 14.30) But the Creator of everything and Ruler of the Universe and everything in it left his glory behind to come to this earth to live like a human and pay for our error that made us not suited for eternity and so He died for not being “politically correct,” but overcame death for us, because He loved us so: so that WHOEVER believes in Him shall NOT perish, but have eternal life. (John 3.16c) Are We Going to be The Forgotten Subjects of Satan or live forever with a Merciful Father? HAPPY EASTER!!!
